The Civil Society Fair is aiming to increase the information sharing, strengthen the networking and the partnerships between CSOs and the government, as well as display and sell their products in order to enhance public recognition. The detailed objectives will be developed during the next NGOs Fair committee meeting.

The Civil Society Fair is held every three years in Phnom Penh. SK invites Civil Society Organizations to contact one another and to exchange experience. More than 200 NGOs and other organizations from Phnom Penh and the provinces usually attend the Forum. Governmental representatives and members of the international community are also invited.

The Civil Society Fair combines an NGO fair with discussions and meetings. At around 100 stands, the organizations can present their activities and sell their products. At discussion forums the role of civil society organizations in Cambodia as well as strategies to foster the movements of civil society organization are discussed.

The next Civil Society Forum will take place in November 2012.
