There were three forestry communities who have received advice and assistant from PANs and two COs have assisted and encouraged individual people for lobbying for official registration from their local authority, Commune Council and relevant government departments.
The following are the names of PANs and COs who have intervened and supported the communities to apply for official registration with the relevance agencies:
- Pursat Provincial Advocacy Network (CACA) has been assisted and supported ANSA ChamBak Forestry community in ANSA Chambak commune, Krokor district, Pursat Province to submitted the request registration latter to the local authority and relevant government departments since 2006, Now it is still in the process of follow up their registration request with the local authority, relevant government departments and as this is a serous case of community forestry conflict with the powerful lady who is close relative with the Prime minister, there were difficulty for the relevant authorities and government departments to solve. And the application has been sent to cabinet of Prime Minister Hun Sen but it seems quiet.
- Sihanok Vill NGOs Advocacy Network has assisted and supported Ream forestry community to submitted registration letter to National Park of Ream authority, commune, district authority and Ministry of Environment, it is still in the process of waiting for results.
- NGOs Advocacy Network has assisted and supported the Forestry community in Krasaing commune, Romeashek district, Svay Reing Province to submitted the registration letter to the commune and district authorities and Forestry Administrative Sankat and now it has been approved by district governor on legal registration letter and community forestry map.
- An Cooperating Organization named HAD has supported the technical advice and encourage 14 families in Bosknour Land Community, Cheng Meanchey commune, Banan district, Battambang province to request for official land registration letter to District cadastral and they will get land title soon.
CARDH has supported the technical advice and encourages 589 families in Prey Prech Land Communit and 218 families in Kbal Spen Village in Poy Pet commune, Auchrouv district, Bantey Meanchey province to applied official land registration to the district cadastral. It is in the process of requested.
