Many communities in Cambodia face land conflicts,
conflicts over access to forestry, illegal logging or
conflicts over fishing rights and illegal fishing. The
Land, Forestry and Fishery Laws are not yet well
implemented.
The ACP conducts training as well as special training
for trainers (ToT) on the Land and Forestry Law and on
the Fishery Law. The training aim to increase the
independency and self-confidence of local NGOs and to
build their legal capacity. The participants of the ToTs
should be able to carry out echoed training on the
particular law and to give affected communities advice.
Training and information material will be available.
The ACP team also offers training to strengthen the
organization’s advocacy and organizational capacity. For
example, they offer training on Media Communication and
Grassroots Advocacy, Conflict Resolutions, Networking
Skills and Persuasive Writing.
All trainingcourses can be booked at any time by NGOs,
Commune Councils, People’s Organizations and other
groups for a reasonable fee. Please contact with us for
more information.
